Balkancar
ZARYA was founded in 1964 in the town of Pavlikeni as
a state Forging Press Company for Rims. It appeared to satisfy
the needs of rims for the existing at that time car production
in Bulgaria.
The production of divided rims for fork-lift trucks
began two years later in the temporary operating and equipped
workshop.
In 1967 the factory changed its name to ZARYA machine-building
company. There were 113 employees at that time. The first several
modifications of automobile type rims for fork-lift trucks were
produced fully accomplished and ready for installing.
In the period of transition after 1989 Balkancar
ZARYA was a fellow subsidiary of the state giant Balkancar Holding.
When the holding was declared insolvent ZARYA Company became private.
After acquiring the majority shares in 2005 and
the sales of the state share Balkancar ZARYA is 100% private market-oriented
company.
